Question: I've been dabbling more and more into glitch work, but I've not had much luck with making animated glitches (glitchgifs) - do you have any tips, guides, advice, etc. for someone wanting to learn more about how to make their own? Thanks!
there are basically three techniques for making glitch gifs:
unless you’re using a technique like the google+ transparent black glitch, glitching gif files directly can be tricky because they break pretty easily. but you can use a program called irfanview to open your damaged gifs and export the individual frames, then assemble those frames back into a working gif. steelanteater has posted a tutorial for using irfanview to retrieve the frames from damaged gif files.
